A Voice for Private Physicians Since 1943

AAPS Endorses Democrat Matthew Robinson for Oregon’s District 4

The Association of American Physicians & Surgeons (AAPS), a voice for private medicine since 1943, enthusiastically endorses Democratic candidate Matthew Robinson for Oregon’s 4th Congressional District.

Young Matthew Robinson exemplifies the values that AAPS supports: honest research, commitment to patients’ rights to private medicine, and an end to congressional cronyism. Robinson’s entrenched opponent, Peter DeFazio, has been in office far too long to truly serve the people. DeFazio has become the epitome of a “career politician” who spends his days trying to pass pork and his evenings at fundraisers to be photographed with millionaires.

One look at Matthew’s brilliant campaign website: http://www.matthew2012.com/, is enough to persuade any of us that he is the future, not the same old, same old DeFazio. We have also met Matthew and known of his utmost integrity for more than a decade.

Matthew Robinson, a standout doctoral candidate at Oregon State University, would be a breath of fresh air. He rightly criticizes the suffocating regulations that have nearly destroyed the practice of medicine. As an organization of physicians and surgeons, we hope you will vote for Matthew Robinson and send a strong message to our entire nation: it is time for career politicians like Peter DeFazio to step aside and let young, hardworking candidates like Matthew Robinson solve the severe problems facing our nation.

Matthew Robinson is our first choice for the 4th Congressional District of Oregon. We hope he is your first choice also. The Association of American Physicians & Surgeons gives Matthew Robinson our strongest endorsement.

AAPS has long had members in Oregon, where we have held our annual meeting.

Paid for entirely by AAPS, headquartered at 1601 N. Tucson Blvd., Suite 9, Tucson, AZ 85716, 800-635-1196. This is not authorized, paid for, or approved by any candidate.
