CANCELLED – March 20, 2020 – Thrive, Not Just Survive XXIX, Restoring the Joy in Medicine by Putting Patients First
March 20 @ 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Dear Participants of AAPS Thrive Not Just Survive XXIX,
AAPS has been doing everything within our control to carry forward with the events on March 20 and 21, 2020. The last time AAPS cancelled an event was in 1945 due to WWII travel restrictions.
This afternoon St. Louis County issued strict restrictions on gatherings which prohibit the holding of our events. Therefore all AAPS events on March 20 & 21 in St. Louis have been cancelled.
We are looking at the possibility of holding it at a date over the summer and will let you know more as this planning progresses.
If you have a hotel room that needs to be cancelled, please do so as soon as possible to avoid any fees. The hotel should fully honor your cancellation if done at this time and please let us know if you have any difficulties with this. The confirmation emailed to you from the hotel will have a cancellation link or you can call the reservations number at 877-227-6963.
Some airlines appear to be offering special flexibility this month so please check with your airline if you have a ticket for travel to St. Louis to check on your options.
Please let me know that you received this email by replying to this message or by calling/texting me at 520-270-0761. I also plan to start calling all attendees to confirm receipt of this message. If you reply to this email it will not be necessary for me to call you.
If you have additional questions please contact me anytime at this same number or by email
Thank you so much for understanding during this difficult time.
