A Voice for Private Physicians Since 1943

AAPS Endorsements for Texas Senate and House

The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, a voice for private medicine since 1943, proudly endorses the below listed candidates for election to the Texas legislature.

The legislators elected on November 4 will shape policy impacting patients and their physicians and we are confident these leaders will work to protect the practice of medicine for the benefit of Texas patients.

The AAPS motto is Omnia Pro Aegroto: All for the Patient. In the Oath of Hippocrates, physicians promise to work for the good of their patients, according to the best of their ability and judgment, and to do no harm. AAPS members support a return to this ethic in American medicine, and oppose programs and laws that harm patients by subjugating their care to the interest of the government and third parties.

Texas patients deserve public servants who will support and work towards achieving this goal.
