It is with boundless enthusiasm that the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons endorses and welcomes, not only with enthusiasm, but with relief and gratitude, the candidacy of Rep. Chip Roy to the office of Attorney General of Texas.
Not only has Chip Roy proven his responsiveness to the citizens of Texas, but also, we realize that everything he did in Congress affects all of us in the USA, and that his integrity, intellect and hard work have benefited us all. AAPS is especially grateful for Mr. Roy’s dedication in Congress to policies that aimed to protect and restore the autonomy and rights of American patients and the medical professionals caring for them.
The Lone Star state has a storied history; we express our gratitude to those who have kept Texas in such good shape until the present, and we salute Chip Roy for being willing to take on the challenges of tough decisions; solving problems and making Texas stronger than ever.
