AAPS Files Amended Complaint in AAPS v. Sebelius

On August 23, AAPS amended its lawsuit to include several new challenges to federal control of physicians and patients.

The amended complaint seeks to vacate aspects of HHS regulations regarding physician PECOS enrollment and NPI registration.   It also asks the court to eliminate the burdensome requirement for physicians who enter into private contracts with Medicare patients to opt out of Medicare.
