Join the Texas Medical Board Reform Action Team

The next week could decide the success or failure of efforts to pass needed reform of the Texas Medical Board. This bill, CSHB 1013, will end anonymous and nearly all confidential complaints. It will also add important due process protections for physicians which have been sorely lacking for years. The Texas House Public Health Committee passed the measure by a 7-2 margin on April 6th, but powerful groups like the Texas Medical Association will be working to defeat the bill.
