Resolution 05-2025: AAPS Support for RFK, Jr. and MAHA Initiatives

Whereas, under the leadership of Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., HHS is taking bold, decisive action to reform America’s food, health, and scientific systems to identify root causes of the chronic disease epidemic, and

Whereas The Trump Administration released a Report regarding Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) on Tuesday 9/9/2025 outlining a broad strategy calling for a wide range of Executive Actions and Policies aimed at implementing these reforms, and

Whereas RFK referred to chronic disease as an “Existential Crisis” for our country and included in this Report, over 100 recommendations which are historic and unprecedented, and

Whereas, RFK’s efforts and activities regarding the MAHA Plan are consistent with AAPS’s long standing goals and objectives related to health care reform,
Therefore be it resolved that:

1. AAPS enthusiastically supports the intent and concept of the Make American Healthy Again (MAHA) initiatives as put forth by Secretary of HHS Robert F. Kennedy Jr and be it further resolved that:
   
2. AAPS immediately send out a widespread Press Release making the general public aware of AAPS’s standing on this matter.
