Sorrell v. IMS – AAPS files amicus brief to protect privacy of presciption drug records

The Supreme Court of the United States is reviewing a 2nd Circuit Court ruling allowing the disclosure of prescription drug records for marketing purposes. AAPS filed the below amicus brief on February 28, 2011 stating that this would be an inappropriate “dissemination of highly confidential information.”
