Hitler’s Doctor vs. Hippocrates: the tragic costs of putting the state above the patient.

Karl Brandt, M.D. was Hitler’s personal physician and also the appointed Reich Commissioner for Sanitation and Health. Dr. Brandt was executed for war crimes after WWII. He instituted the German euthanasia program.
