Dear AAPS Members and Friends in Florida:
On Tuesday, February 24, the Florida Senate Committee on Appropriations will be meeting to consider SB 1756 a bill to expand and protect medical freedom.
The bill would change existing statute in Florida by:
- recognizing conscience-based exemptions to school vaccine mandates;
- requiring parental informed consent for immunizations to minors;
- prohibiting the State Health Officer from ordering an individual to be vaccinated;
- allowing ivermectin to be dispensed by a pharmacist without a prescription;
- protecting medical professionals from liability or disciplinary action for prescribing or administering ivermectin to an adult.
Please take a moment to ask key members of the Appropriations committee to support SB 1756.
For many email apps, clicking here will open a template message to be sent to the committee members.
Also if you have time, please consider making a phone call or two to the members below and ask them to support medical freedom by approving SB 1756.
The message is simple:
“Please support SB 1756 when it comes up for consideration in the Senate Appropriations Committee. This good bill protects parental and patient rights. Moving it forward is the right decision. Thank you.”
