Dear AAPS Members and Friends in Florida:
Medical professionals across the state are expressing grave concern that a Florida ballot amendment, Amendment 4, set to be voted on in November could become part of Florida’s Constitution.
Promoted as expanding access to abortion, it would unthinkably allow late-term abortions up to birth, eliminate parental consent for minors, and jeopardize the health and safety of women including by removing safety regulations at abortion facilities.
