On December 11, 2014, Dr. Boustany (R-LA) and Mike Thompson (D-CA) introduced and referred to House Ways and Means Committee H.R. 5860, a bill to amend the Internal Revenue Code to allow small businesses to use pre-tax dollars for assistance to employees purchasing policies in the individual market within a state.
