Massachusetts became the 14th state medical society in the USA to OPPOSE MOC by a House of Delegates vote ending around 3 pm on Saturday December 6, 2014 near the end of the Mass Medical Society I-14 interim meeting. The general will of the House, late on a Saturday afternoon, was heard loudly and clearly. Massachusetts physicians and surgeons — young doctors, practicing doctors, university scholars and others wishing to assert their professional competence independent of the ABMS testing industry — won when the Mass Med Society Resolution against MOC passed Saturday 12/6/2014. Massachusetts became the 14th state of the union to oppose MOC.
