Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius told reporters on Monday that there is no evidence whatsoever Obamacare is leading to job loss, despite the CBO’s report that stated the legislation will lead to the equivalent of 2.5 million lost full time jobs (The Hill).

Al Cardenas wrote in an opinion piece that significant changes are needed to the healthcare system that are guided by the following principles: Choice, Health Savings Accounts, Portability, Savings, Cost Control and Freedom (U.S. News and World Report).

President Barack Obama’s pledge that doctors and health plans would not change under the Affordable Care Act has proven illusory and with a glitch in the law, entrepreneurs are left with much more expensive, second-rate health insurance (Forbes).

Accountable Care Organizations are expected to have a rippling effect on broader health care delivery, including an effect on Health IT (InformationWeek).

Top Democrat Party operatives are already angling for the 2014 elections by deflecting Obamacare criticisms by claiming Republicans do not have a viable alternative (Politico).

The Obama Administration may extend the risk corridor program by another year which will reimburse insurers for losses they may incur due to participating in the healthcare exchanges (Washington Examiner).

Republicans are launching investigations into exchanges in Oregon, Maryland and Massachusetts, where Democratic governors embraced the healthcare law, but their websites still remain useless (The Hill).
