Are you worried about how much “carbon” you emit by using fuel and unclean electricity?
The Trump Administration has withdrawn the U.S. from the Paris climate accords (again), and President Trump has signed an Executive Order declaring that CO2 is not a pollutant and is necessary for plants.
Nevertheless, the American Medical Association (AMA) has not withdrawn its position that “climate change is a public health crisis” or its call for “reducing U.S. greenhouse gas emissions aimed at a 50% reduction in emissions by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2050.”
For perspective, the graph shows CO2 emissions by continent: in order, Asia (62%), North America, Europe, Africa, South America, Australia.

Even though drastic reductions in emissions by the U.S. and Europe could not possibly achieve the “climate goals” (which are based on the assumption that atmospheric CO2 is the climate control knob), enormous wealth is being wasted on CO2 capture and on “clean” energy (primarily wind and solar).
The recent sudden power blackout in Spain, Portugal, and part of France resulted from collapse of the electrical grid likely due to excessive intermittent inputs from wind and solar and inadequate steady baseload capacity from coal, gas, or nuclear. Prolonged power outages cause enormous economic losses and potential public health consequences.
