AAPS & CCHF Ask Supreme Court to Hear King vs. Burwell

The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons and Citizens’ Council for Health Freedom were one of only five amici to file a brief with the Supreme Court asking it to grant certiorari in the case of King vs. Burwell.

At issue is, “Whether the Internal Revenue Service may permissibly promulgate regulations to extend tax-credit subsidies to coverage purchased through exchanges established by the federal government under Section 1321 of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.”

Today, November 7, 2014, the Supreme Court granted certiorari and will hear this case challenging ObamaCare subsidies.
