AAPS News October 2021 – Desperation and Hope

Volume 77, no. 10  October 2021

More and more businesses are going bankrupt, and more and more Americans are facing unemployment and poverty as coercive measures tighten. What is really going on? Is it just a virus with a 99.9+% survival rate? There are hints behind the impossible plot in David Baldacchi’s thriller Total Control. Reissued in 2019 but written 23 years ago (as one might guess from the starring role of a floppy disk), it portrays the power of the Federal Reserve and the technology industry—and its penetration into the FBI. Like the lead character, we must all ask, “Whom can we trust?”

The Digital-Financial Complex

The situation is unique in the history of the world, states German financial journalist Ernst Wolff in an Oct 19, 2019, essay  (tinyurl.com/452vj3ry) and an August 2021 lecture on “Uncovering the Corona Narrative” (tinyurl.com/2x6kjwkr). Never before has the entire world been placed under such a coercive regime.

Wolff quotes Franklin Roosevelt, who said that nothing in politics happens by accident; you can bet that it was planned.

Government policies have not contained SARS-CoV-2, but they have wrecked the global economy. Supply chains are broken; harvests are being lost; essential semiconductors are scarce. The constant threat of new restrictions keeps problems from being solved. In China, the third largest port terminal in the world was shut down because of a single positive test in a worker.

Who can benefit from driving small and medium-size businesses to the wall by constant uncertainty and harsher regulation? These are the biggest source of jobs and tax revenue.

The principal profiteer and the most important string-puller, Wolff explains, is the digital-financial complex: the largest information technology (IT) concerns headed by the leading asset managers of our time. These include Apple, Google parent Alphabet, Amazon, Microsoft, and Facebook. The market capitalization of these companies alone is $5.1 trillion; the combined GDP of Germany, France, and Italy is $8.6 trillion. The biggest asset managers—BlackRock, Vanguard, State Street, and Fidelity are significantly involved in all IT companies. Together they manage $220.6 trillion; the combined GDP of all 28 countries of the EU amounted to $15.7 trillion. In addition, IT companies control hundreds of thousands of other companies because they organize the digital systems and thus have a constant overview of their data streams.

“The IT industry is nothing other than a tumor that over past years has metastasized into all other branches of the economy, to make them dependent on it and to completely dominate them,” Wolff states. Also, the asset managers are involved in every large undertaking and are able to influence every popular brand in the world. BlackRock’s Aladdin Data Cloud has the greatest accumulation of financial information that the world has ever seen, which it uses behind the scenes to influence the largest central banks, e.g. the Federal Reserve and the European Central Bank (EZB). So we have a unique historic mix of raw financial power and discretionary power over an unimaginably gigantic data pool. These companies had a huge business upswing in this crisis, gaining the largest profits in their entire history in a single quarter, and their advantage is continuously accelerating.

The digital-financial complex is the global power center, which drives everything. It stands far above all governments, and is in a position at any time to bring every government in the world to its knees, states Wolff. The perception that it is undermining the very system from which it profits misses the reality: the digital-financial complex has no choice but to continue its present course.

The current system can no longer be kept alive. It was very close to death in the world financial crisis of 2007-2008 and would have collapsed had central banks not created massive amounts of money out of nothing. Over the next 12 years, 700 decreases in interest rates have made the system ever more unstable. In March 2020, the threatened collapse was postponed only through the reduction of interest rates to zero and a final injection of billions of fiat currency. What now? Total collapse of the banking system through negative interest rates, or worthless money?

Wolff writes that the digital-financial complex is preparing a new system, while plundering the dying one.  The new system will  destroy cash and normal banking, and introduce digital money from central banks, which can be created in infinite amounts. It enables governments to oversee and control all transactions, easily impose differential taxes and fines, and cancel our ability to make any transactions. It enables an all-encompassing dictatorship accomplished through money. To prevent enormous social unrest resulting from gradual introduction, the digital-financial complex has apparently developed the brilliant strategy of turning the situation around: Cause social chaos first and introduce digital money as the answer in the form of the universal basic income (UBI). Out of maximum chaos, even to the extent of worldwide civil war, bring maximum control in the guise of humanitarian aid.

The situation in American medicine (see p 2) fits into the Wolff’s scenario for the general economy. COVID-19, or COVID-1984 as it was called at the AAPS 78th annual meeting, is a catalyst for the Great Reset (AAPS News, November 2020).

But desperation is forcing the globalists to cross ever more red lines. Their window of opportunity could be ours. By exposing their lies, we could use the crisis to turn the direction of human history and open the door to a new and better era.

Desperation and U.S. Medicine

Conveniently, COVID kills mainly the elderly, and mortality from delays in cancer screening or other forgone care disproportionately affect older patients. Also, there has been a massive increase in the number of Do Not Resuscitate Orders (DNRs), and hospitals have considered “universal DNRs” for any COVID-positive patient (https://tinyurl.com/yp4mkckn).

Since 1965, AAPS has warned that Medicare is unsustainable, as is Social Security. As the tsunami of retiring Baby Boomers hits, the 2020s are “the decade of fiscal reckoning,” writes David Stockman (https://tinyurl.com/377acsse). Between 2020 and 2030, under the Congressional Budget Office’s overly optimistic assumptions, Social Security spending will burgeon from $1.091 trillion to $1.835 trillion; federal civilian and military retirement benefits from $173 billion to $227 billion; and Medicare from $862 billion to $1.61 trillion.

U.S. corporate medicine and the pharmaceutical industry are giant stakeholders in the digital financial complex. Its corporate oligarchs pass through a revolving door into federal agencies such as CDC, NIH, and FDA, dominating the network that dictates conventional wisdom. The top three Pfizer shareholders are  Vanguard, BlackRock, and State Street (tinyurl.com/3ch43yrv).

“Beneficiaries” are unfunded liabilities of the government-digital-financial complex, which is desperate.

Excess COVID-Related Deaths

The press has called 2020 the UK’s deadliest year since World War II, ignoring the massive increase in population. By the Age-Standardised Mortality Rate (ASMR), 2020 isn’t even the worst year since 2000. In fact, since 1943 only 9 years have been better than 2020. In the U.S. the ASMR for 2020 is only at 2004 levels (tinyurl.com/2te9ksmb). Nearly everywhere, the median age of “COVID death” has exceeded life expectancy (ibid.).

How much morbidity and mortality is acceptable to combat a disease less lethal than many previous pandemics? VigiAccess, the World Health Organization’s (WHO’s) publicly accessible database, shows more than 2 million possible COVID vaccine injuries in 2021 alone, with 69% occurring in female patients and 39% in 18–44-year-olds (https://tinyurl.com/xjfeu7d7).

A VAERS under-reporting multiplier of 41 was calculated by Jessica Rose, Ph.D., based on the rate of anaphylaxis reported in JAMA, of 2.47/10,000 (tinyurl.com/3suy44br), compared with 583 cases/97.5 million reported to VAERS. Applying this multiplier and also using other methods, Rose calculated that  more than 150,000 Americans, including 600 children, may have died because of COVID vaccines (tinyurl.com/4jwrbn9p).

In 2021, excess deaths in 29 EU countries are as great as in 2020, and trending upward,  but the age distribution has shifted to younger groups (tinyurl.com/bkybjv4a). In England, most of the excess mortality is from cardiovascular disease. Could this be from the vaccination campaign (https://tinyurl.com/2crfnaaz)?

“The Berlin Wall didn’t fall because the East German government said, ‘Let’s pass a bill. We’ll finally tear down this wall. The people deserve freedom.’ The wall fell because people no longer gave their consent to live under tyranny. We have reason, logic, and science on our side. We need only courage, resolve, and hard work, and we will prevail.” —Marc Morano

Lessons from the Holocaust

Between 1933 and 1945, the Nazis established a “biocracy,” which ultimately murdered millions of innocent persons. Contrary to a prevalent myth, doctors were not forced to participate.  Doctors and nurses had a peculiarly strong attraction to the Nazi philosophy. Nearly 50% of physicians had joined the Nazi party by 1945, much higher than any other profession, and were seven times more likely to join the SS than other employed German males. Why? To the Nazis, the Reich was a living body, and those who did not contribute were a “disease.” Euthanasia was “humane” and a “private matter” between patients and doctors. Moreover, it was “good science,” and science was god. Legality trumped morality. If medicine is to survive as a profession of healing, writes Ashley Fernandes (tinyurl.com/56r24t5j), physicians must affirm that the ultimate unit of value of human life is the individual person—not the collective.

COVID-19: the Great Reset

In his book by this title, World Economic Forum founder Klaus Schwab admits that “the corona crisis is (so far) one of the least deadly pandemics the world has experience [sic] over the last 2000 years.” However, it may compel us to “act faster by replacing failed ideas, institutions, processes and rules.” It is the globalists’ “greatest cause for hope”—of world government, central planning of all aspects of life, and leveling differences in standards of living.

Behind the noble-sounding ambitions, what is the real agenda, asks Joaquin Flores in “The Great Reset Morality: Euthanization of the Inessentials”? Genocide? Enslavement? A combination of the two? (https://tinyurl.com/2m5639bm).

Our great hope to preserve our freedom, our individual rights, and self-governance is that the pack of lies is collapsing, Wolff writes. The media’s vehemence testifies not to strength but to weakness. The credibility of those who led us into this disaster is being buried deeper day by day. We need a vast and comprehensive program of enlightenment.

Products of Human Vivisection

Controversy over COVID-19 “vaccines” has increased awareness of the market for “fresh” material from aborted human fetuses. Especially disturbing is Pamela Acker’s statement that “the babies are still alive when the researchers start extracting the tissue.” Fetal cell lines are involved in all U.S. COVID vaccines (tinyurl.com/9wbznx9z), and in testing Regeneron’s monoclonal antibodies (tinyurl.com/47d7mymk). The abortion industry confidently anticipates greater demand (tinyurl.com/5mrutt3z).

Is Biden’s Vaccine Mandate Lawful?

Attorney Jonathan Emord writes that the Biden Administration’s vaccine mandate on companies with 100 or more employees will “sink in a legal quagmire,” a “litigation maelstrom the likes of which the nation has not seen since employers sued in overwhelming numbers to invalidate Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s failed National Industrial Recovery Act.” Grounds for challenge include the equal protection component of the Fifth Amendment; the Tenth Amendment; the Separation of Powers doctrine; the Americans with Disabilities Act; and Title VII of the Equal Employment Opportunity Act, which protects against religious discrimination (https://tinyurl.com/kfuxt75x).

Some claim that the Biden mandate is a bluff, and point out that as of Oct 10 no rule had been issued by the enforcement agency, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Joy Pullman of The Federalist states that the Administration is imposing the public perception of a mandate by following an unusual rule-making process, an emergency temporary standard or ETS. But even through the ETS, it takes up to 6 months for a rule to go into effect after it is issued in the Federal Register. It isn’t there yet, but companies are telling reporters their vaccine mandates will have, at the latest, December deadlines.

Pullman observed that “using the ETS procedure…allows the Biden administration to push its demands faster and without any public input or requirement of responding to public input.”

“That is part of why ETS rules have been overwhelmingly overturned in courts,” she wrote. But because there is no mandate for them to bring to court, the nearly two dozen Republican attorneys general who have threatened to sue on constitutional grounds have not yet filed.

Companies comply because of potential sanctions, especially if they are dependent on federal contracts or regulators’ good will. Fines in the $3.5 trillion “infrastructure” bill run as high as $700,000 for willful or repeated violations (tinyurl.com/26ansfpz).

This back-door plan shows the “dark brilliance of administrative state authoritarians,” writes Alex Berenson.

Pending COVID-Related Litigation

Southwest Airlines Pilots Association: SWAPA claims that carrier has taken unilateral actions that violate terms of the Railway Labor Act, which governs relations between airlines and employee unions, in mandating the jab. In addition, it notes that pilots are at a unique risk because adverse reactions to a vaccine could affect their ability to pass periodic medical examinations required to maintain their license. The union wants to negotiate how such instances would be covered by long-term disability policies. (https://tinyurl.com/ywkmnsck).

Religious Discrimination in Colorado:  The Thomas More Society is suing  the University of Colorado’s Anschutz School of Medicine on behalf of a Catholic and a Buddhist student whose religious exemptions were denied. An exemption is available only to those whose religions oppose all immunizations (https://tinyurl.com/ywcc2whf).

Kaiser Permanente: This giant corporation has placed about 5,000 of its 200,000 employees on unpaid leave for not getting the jab, and has reneged on many religious exemptions. In United KP Freedom Alliance v. Kaiser Permanente, case 4-21-cv-07894 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, Oakland Division, plaintiffs ask for injunctive relief and damages, including exemplary and punitive damages (https://tinyurl.com/74j23jts).

“Kaiser Permanente asserts that it is merely following CDC guidelines,” states America’s Frontline Doctors (AFLDS). But as the nation’s largest healthcare employer, Kaiser wields enormous power, and has an incestuous relationship with policymakers.  The Complaint shows that Kaiser dominates both the Vaccine Safety Datalink (VSD), which makes recommendations to the CDC, and the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), which makes recommendations to the FDA.

The Complaint distinguishes the case from the Jacobson v. Massachusetts precedent. First, Jacobson applied a small one-time financial penalty but not a severe penalty such as unemployment or unemployability. Second, COVID has a 0.1% infection fatality rate, which is not remotely similar to the 33% death rate in the 1905 smallpox outbreak (https://tinyurl.com/3kkn7dhd).

Sixth Circuit Affirms Dismissal of AAPS v. FDA

Without reaching the merits, the Court affirmed the trial court’s dismissal of the AAPS case against FDA for withholding millions of doses of hydroxychloroquine donated to the National Strategic Stockpile, citing lack of standing (https://tinyurl.com/5dwmek7c). AAPS “failed to plausibly plead that any member has been injured by the actions of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that it criticizes,” the Court held. The Court ducked the issue of FDA’s intimidating statements that could have caused the preventable death of hundreds of thousands by denial of safe early COVID-19 treatment. “Much of the opinion is unjustified legal theorizing about the doctrine of legal standing, while lives are at stake,” states AAPS counsel Andrew Schlafly. “The Court did recognize that the FDA cannot interfere with off-label prescribing.” For a timeline of the litigation, see https://aapsonline.org/hcqsuit/.

Religious Liberty Upheld

New York must continue to allow healthcare workers to seek exemptions from a statewide COVID-19 vaccine mandate on religious grounds as a lawsuit challenging the requirement proceeds. Judge David Hurd in Utica issued a preliminary injunction in a case brought by 17 plaintiffs. Unlike other judges ruling in similar cases, Hurd concluded “the public interest lies with enforcing the guarantees enshrined in the Constitution and federal anti-discrimination law” and not the wider public health. Plaintiffs oppose any medical cooperation in abortions. Their identities are kept private because they fear retaliation (tinyurl.com/2de65msh).

Judge Terry Doughty ruled that the vaccine mandate violates  religious liberty and issued a temporary restraining order in Magliulo v. Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, No. 3:21-cv-2304 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana. The Judge found that restrictions that would interfere with dissenting students’ right to graduate defeat the purpose of having a right to dissent. These included barring unvaccinated students from participating in Standardized Patient Examinations and Early Clinical Experiences. Doughty further ruled that the school is not allowed to retaliate or discriminate against the students for filing proceedings (https://tinyurl.com/2upwx2ek).

Correspondence

Bad Time to Get Sick in NY State. Gov. Kathy Hochul, New York’s new dictator, has ordered that all healthcare workers at all NYS hospitals must be vaccinated by Sept 27th, or placed on unpaid administrative leave or terminated. The royal proclamation did not include any exemptions. Thus, if a person has a known allergy to polyethylene glycol, best prepare to risk death so as to uphold the order. This dictatorial mandate also affects rehabilitation and long-term care facilities, where some employees are also refusing to submit to vaccines. That will create a “back-up effect” much like a clogged sewer line outside one’s home.  Erie County Medical Center, the region’s only level-one trauma center, will not be able to transfer patients to these facilities because of lack of sufficient staff, and those patients will remain in ECMC occupying beds. ECMC could lock out 400 staff members (Buffalo News 9/25/21). The proposed solution to this pending massive shortage of workers, getting replacement staff from temp agencies, is pure fairy tale. The demand will far outstrip the supply.

Orwell’s Inspiration. This will probably be my last month at my federally qualified health clinic as I shall not comply with the vaccine mandate. I will “die on this hill.” This is 1932 Germany.

It is still the early phase of the “owners” resisting any change in their status. They seek to impose further losses on all non-owners as the system crumbles. The roots of the Great Reset agenda can be traced back 80 years, described in James Burnham’s book The Managerial Revolution. This ideology triggered Orwell to write 1984 (tinyurl.com/ejxy5jdb).

I believe we have only begun the most trying decade of our lives. I am doing what I can on the information front, treating patients while still permitted, and growing vegetables.

Academia Is a Lethal Toxin. After I earned two terminal degrees in professional schools and spent some time on a university medical faculty, I realized the universities were going to destroy us as a society and take us down as a civilization. Academic tyranny and totalitarian thinking, exemplifying Angelo Codevilla’s concept of the Ruling Class and their army of “experts,” has now invaded the professions, so now “consensus” thinking is dominant and eliminates good science. As Scott Forman writes, “universities are the key to the cultural and political domination of the country by progressive elites because they alone can grant credentials” (https://tinyurl.com/3h58w8m5).

No Safety Mechanism. I have chaired data safety monitoring boards (DSMBs) for more than two dozen therapeutic products, for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Big Pharma corporations. The threshold for shutting down a program is a few cases of unexplained serious adverse events. If we get to 50 unexplained deaths in a release of a product, it’s gone. The 1976 swine flu vaccine campaign was suspended after just 10 weeks due to 25 sudden deaths and 550 reports of Guillain-Barré syndrome following vaccination. In contrast, with our current COVID-19 gene-transfer vaccination campaign, we are far beyond that. There are no external advisory committees, no human ethics committee, no DSMB. A DSMB would have shut the program down in February. A person is more likely to die after the vaccine than after COVID itself. Yet coercion to take the vaccine is going on in lockstep worldwide. This can’t be about the virus, or about money. It’s about a totalitarian takeover that’s occurred all over the world. Something very dark is going on (tinyurl.com/yhjtt3ne).

Shutting Down Scientific Inquiry. A few days after journalist Alex Newman wrote an article about a paper on climate change by nearly two dozen experts in solar physics, a “fact-checker” website financially supported by Facebook, TikTok, Google News Initiative, and others declared the article to be “incorrect” and “misleading.” Facebook then began censoring any posts sharing the link. A “fact-check fact check” using the site’s own framework showed that its farcical “fact check” was guilty of 11 of the 14 classes of misinformation the website warns against, while Newman’s article contained none of them. Why is science reporting being subjected to fact checking by non-experts? A weaponized “fact check,” which apparently began with “climate change,” is nothing more than a narrative check (tinyurl.com/3mwarv9u).

Resisting the Reset. Citizens’ Council for Health Freedom has launched a “Don’t Be Bullied” campaign, with billboards already placed in several states. It advocates for the right of the individual to make an informed choice (https://tinyurl.com/r76aunah).

Hospitals Violate Rights. TruthforHealth.org shows how U.S. hospitals are denying  life-saving medication for COVID-19, even antibiotics, corticosteroids, or anticoagulants; coercing patients into dangerous and expensive treatment plans; and forcibly secluding them. Some have even been denied the right to sign out (tinyurl.com/uztnd9af).
