ObamaCare media round-up: 2/4/2014

The Congressional Budget Office is dropping it’s Obamacare exchange enrollment estimates to 6 million people and project a loss of at least 2 million full-time jobs from the health law over the next three years (Politico).

Nearly 22,00 people who have encountered errors when signing up for health coverage on Healthcare.gov have yet to hear back on their appeals from the Federal government. Computer systems are not yet allowing workers to access enrollment records to correct mistakes (Washington Post).

The CBO released a major report this week outlining a new Medicare pay system. Private plans can offer the same benefit and services as traditional Medicare fee-for-service (FFS) plans—at a lower cost to taxpayers (Heritage Foundation).

HHS was recently notified by the intelligence community of possible malicious software in it’s health care network after learning that developers that produced the website are linked to the Belarus government (FOX News).
